Every Step Matters - Mental Health Matters
10 metres. 1 km. 9 km. How far you go is up to you.
CAHS is inviting the whole community to come together for Every Step Matters – a walk for suicide awareness, connection, remembrance and hope.
Around nine Australians lose their lives to suicide every day. Our 9 km distance represents those lives – but you don't have to walk 9 km to make your steps matter.
🚶 Walk 10 metres
🏃 Run a few kilometres
💪 Challenge yourself to the full 9 km
💚 Or simply come along and support others
No pressure. No judgement. Just show up, connect and support one another.
We'll have a BBQ, food and hydration available, raffle prizes and plenty of opportunities to yarn, connect and start conversations about mental health.
Bring your mates. Bring your family. Bring your workmates. Walk together or take on your own challenge.
Let's come together to remember those we've lost, support those who may be struggling, share stories and remind each other that mental health matters.
Every step matters. Every conversation matters. Every person matters.

Women's Health Week Community BBQ
Women spend so much time looking after family, friends and community. Women’s Health Week is an important reminder that your health matters too.
To celebrate Women’s Health Week 2026, Condobolin Aboriginal Health Service (CAHS) is bringing our community together for a relaxed Women’s Health Week Community BBQ at the Old Fire Station.
The day is about celebrating the strength of women in our community while creating an opportunity to connect, have a yarn and learn more about looking after our health — body, mind and spirit.
Come along and join us
📅 Tuesday 8 September 2026
⏰ 11am–2pm
📍 Old Fire Station, Condobolin
There will be:
🌭 Free BBQ lunch
💜 Women’s health information and support
🗣️ Yarns and conversations about women’s health
🎁 Giveaways
🤝 Connection, conversation and community
Whether you come with family, bring a friend or simply drop in yourself, everyone is welcome.
Women’s health is about much more than responding when something is wrong. It is about making time for regular health checks, looking after our social and emotional wellbeing, staying connected and having the information and support we need to make decisions about our health.
At CAHS, we want women in our community to feel comfortable asking questions, talking about their health and reaching out when they need support.
Strong women. Healthy communities. Brighter futures.
Women play an incredibly important role in keeping our families and communities strong. Taking care of your own health is part of that strength.
💜 You look after so many people. This Women’s Health Week, make some time to look after you.
We look forward to seeing you at the Old Fire Station on Tuesday 8 September.
Healthy. Strong. Empowered.
